2nd NaNoism of the Month & the Lameness of Microsoft Word

In an attempt to type the word "simultaneously," I managed to crank out this little gem:

"simuklatneously."

And Microsoft Word's Spelling and Grammar Check did not catch it. It really thinks that simuklatneous is a word.

Sadness.

Needless to say, this is going in the NaNoism thread on the NaNo forums. (Call me a dork, I don't care.)

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I'm currently 13,000 words behind. I love how I'm measuring my word count in deficit this year. Blah. Yet still I struggle onward!

Writerly Squealing

I've got over 12k! Almost 13k!

Now I'm only some eight thousand words behind!
::happiness:: ::smiley faces:: ::dancing::
This is so possible I am wiggling from joy! Yes, that's right! Wiggling, right here in my chair!
::cheering:: ::self-esteem boosting:: ::YAY::
I love NaNo!

Does That Ever Happen? Is it Real? Would I Want it if it Was?

I think God is an asshole.

And if these empty-headed girls don't stop playing Snow Patrol soon,

slitting my throat would seem oh-so-attractive,

if I wasn't "raised on it,"

if I was numb.

How much better numbness seems!, when I have already been injured twice tonight. Once I was numb, but it was a long time I ago, and I forget. I only remember it scared me, a Dracula enveloping my shadows in spite of a bright, summer, porch-picnic afternoon.

It is good that I am too afraid of elevators to ride to the 32nd floor. "The Moment has lead to some pretty stupid things happening." And Impulse is all-consuming.
